Iveragh Local Studies Group

Following on the immensely interesting talk given by Síle Burns Coffey on shipwrecks; fullacht fia and pre-bog field walls, in the Ballinskelligs area, the Heritage Iveragh group will be hosting locally themed evenings regularly. We hope that those who will come along will join in the atmosphere that has become standard at our gatherings, where people bring in objects of interest.
There will be a different theme for each evening and the theme will be announced with details of the time and date of each meeting which will normally be held at the Tech Amergin in Waterville.
Anyone with old Iveragh related photographs, artefacts, songs, jokes, etc are asked to bring them along - especially if they are relevant to the theme.
Membership = Family €30, Individual €20, Student €10 or Individual talks = €5 per person and everyone is very welcome. |
